OJ's Legal team won his case but did not do much for me as far as enhancing respect for Lawyers
...that being said I am not saying that all Lawyers are bad or that none are deserving of respect...but there are more than a few lawyer jokes around...what do you have if you have a dozen lawyers buried up to their necks in sand.... not enough sand jk jk

Back to the subject at hand...if the Stewards are political appointees then I suspect qualifications are not necessarilly the top consideration for the appointments.
