![]() Pine Tree Lane and Jones Time Machine were rockets. I don't recall Cheap Seats as well but she produced the well named Above the Crowd who could run a little.
What A Summer was the first mare I remember really following. She ran everywhere, over anything and carried weight and beat boys. I still have an old TB Record (precursor to the TTimes) with a pic of her winning something in the slop. Great mare... |

![]() She may have been the shortest priced horse ever to lose a Breeders Cup race ever. I know she was the lowest of any horse on that card for sure, and flopped like a poisoned mackrel.
