![]() The Lonesome Glory handicap, final jump race on the NYRA circuit, goes 2 ˝ miles around 5 turns over 10 jumps and features a nice mix of proven graded stakes runners and several improving runners. There is a ⅝ mile flat run after the last jump so flat track speed provides an advantage.
#3 Zarak The Brave is 158 pound highweight and will be favorite after 2 Grade 1 board hits at Saratoga this summer. He has not won in the US but has the highest jump earnings and never uses lasix. #7 Hidden Path carries 148 and always runs well on flat tracks for trainer Ricky Hendriks and has the best flat track speed with an 89 Beyer. Gets a 2 pound break after his last against #3 Zarak The Brave and finished 3rd in this race last year only losing by 3 lengths. #4 Bee Well ran huge on the flat at Kentucky Downs beating a graded stakes placed runner on the flat (Time Song), gets in light with 142 pounds and if he settles early, will have a strong run after the last fence. #5 Evie’s Prince carries 148 and also ran well in the Steinman at Saratoga, picks up veteran rider Bernie Dalton, ran 4th in this race last year, and is trainer Neil Morris’ best chance after a very strong Colonial jump meet. #5 Evie’s Prince will be running late after the last jump. (Scratched) Underneath in trifectas and superfectas key #9 Travesuras, #2 Swore Won ($10.46) and #1 Sweet Will (3rd). Selection: A) 3-7 (4th) B) 4-5 (scr) Good luck at the races!
