![]() Pegasus Day at Gulfstream didn't give up a whole lot of winners or close finishes. While most
of us flew like the turkeys in the classic WKRP sketch one player sprouted wings and flew over the field like Pegasus. That player was Cal and he seems determined not to let Roamin make 2021 a walkover. Those two are the only players currently showing a flat profit. Cal hit a nice exacta in race 9 featuring Pacific Gale $34.20 on top of Thissmytime for $70.60 per buck and a $282+ return. Pacific Gale was 6-1 in the morning line but was allowed to go off at 16-1. Congrats on the win Cal and nice call on that exacta. Following are the unofficial results pending any objections. See you all next week wherever the Don ships us. Same bat time. Same bat channel. WIN... Cal828... +$182.40... R9 $4 Ex 2,3,6,7,8//4 $70.60 X 4... $282.40 Don Guido -$96.00 Digger -$100.00 Roamin -$100.00 Joly B -$100.00 Real Quiet -$100.00 Indian Hemp -$100.00 Ruffian -$100.00 Cruzan -$100.00

![]() Not sure that it means much. I was quick out of the gate last year, but then went several weeks with not much, but I seem to be a better exacta player than a tri player although I think a combination of the two might be the better way to go. Maybe you can teach an old dog new tricks.
