Default 2-1 to 3-5 last flash Gulf 1st

The last flash of odds at Gulfstream in the first race the 11 went from 2-1 to 3-5 C'mon Man!!!

The horse was 3/5 up until about 10 MTP and then drifted up, I agree that was a massive move but it isn't abnormal at Gulfstream, and not that unusual since he was pounded early in the wagering.

There was probably less than 10% of the pool in at 10 minutes to post...which makes his odds at that time completely irrelevent.

I understand exactly why these things happen, and there is no chicanery, but it's still a bit frustrating at times.

Absolutely, but it is essentially status quo there. A Brian Lynch horse went from 5/2 third choice to 4/5 the other day in a race. I don't see it happen as much anywhere else, although it does happen at every track.
