Default Ness finally gets his due?

Perhaps the unreal numbers Ness has put up at Tampa finally caught someone's attention:

In a perverted way these shakedowns actually help the accused. They almost never find anything, rarely know what they are looking for and give the trainer a chance to say "See I'm innocent".

Eventually? He's been caught plenty of times already.

They raided his barn in 2009 as well: ""Notice of Violation: Impounded twenty-six items. The items consist of one loaded syringe containing a clear liquid, a bottle and syringe both with liquid, nine unprescribed medications, three injectable vials, four syringes, six needles and a prescription medication for the horse ""EDGE OF CHAOS"" that was not at the grounds and had not raced at Tampa Bay Downs. Four property receipts were issued to Cory Jensen, Assistant Trainer."

And there still has been no action against him, so what makes anyone think that this will change anything? He fills races and that's all TBD cares about.

With regard to yesterday's "raid" - here is Ness' side of the story:

Just to clarify assumptions. TBD security came to my barn at 8:30 break this morning for a stable check (there was no raid). I instructed my staff to cooperate with them 100% what ever they need we have done nothing wrong and have nothing to hide. They were very professional and cordial in thier search. Nothing illegal was taken. They took samples of my sweetfeed, supplements, vitamins, ulcer meds, etc, That was it. Why did they search my barn and no other trainer? Simple, because we do good. Do i think that is fair? No, but i guess it comes with the territory of being on top. I am not going to apoligize for winning 46%, in fact I am proud of our accomplishments. We (20 employees and 40 horses) are having a great meet at my home track and will continue to be the best we can be.

To be fair. Here allegedly is Mr Ness's response from the comment section:

What a douchey response. No need to brag. Just thank the good lord you weren't born 500 years ago. You wouldn't have hands.

With high percentage owners/trainers, should they also be looking at Midwest Thoroughbreds as well and who the employ? Midwest Thoroughbreds right now are winning at 33% with 441 runners so far and we arent even into June yet.

Its because the competition at Tampa was so strong...The other 55% that didnt win every time out are much fitter... that and OCD pellets

You guys don't think proactively vetting to the fullest (allowable raceway meds), and Midwest running horses down people's throat has anything to do with Jamie winning. He absolutely must be cheating?

I'm guessing with Ness it's as simple as going from a size six to a size three shoe, Marty Wolfson-style.
