Default In a word unbelievable!

Why, I'm just shocked. I know the Supremes just threw out Orly Taitz's final appeal on the birth certificate issue, but wow ....

Quote:
NEW YORK - Impressed by his speech at the University of Arizona last night, the Fox News Channel today took the extraordinary step of naming President Barack Obama an honorary American.

"Let's face it, he's earned it," said Fox host Glenn Beck. "I don't care where he came from, he's one of us now."

At Wing's suggestion, I checked out Daily Kos. Oh, boy! This is a blog, and pictures, from someone who was at the memorial event yesterday.

The third picture shows students during the day, outside the stadium, making a giant "peace chain", a series of connected links of paper notes of peace. I am sure, as they are all wearing red shirts, they must be student communists working for Obama.

I'm not sure how integrity goes with the smarmy sarcastic verbiage that pops forth from you at an alarming rate.

It's kinda like Sarah Palin getting angry she's getting dissed and blamed and feeling public anger for things that are not precisely true. You know, her being upset she's on the receiving end of her very own political tactics.

Rush Limbaugh lost his mind years ago.

The large billboard in Tucson, black with scattered gunshot holes through it, that said, "Rush Limbaugh - Straight Shooter" was taken down by Clearchannel Radio yesterday. Good for them.

Quote:
A feud has broken out between Rush Limbaugh and the so-called "All Star Panel" on Fox News' "Special Report" over the panel's praise for President Obama's speech at the memorial for the Arizona shooting victims. Speaking on his radio show Thursday, Limbaugh slammed the panelists--which, on the night of the speech, were Brit Hume, Charles Krauthammer and Chris Wallace--for their positive comments.

"They were slobbering over it for the predictable reasons," he said. "It was smart, it was articulate, it was oratorical. It was, it was all the things the educated, ruling class wants their members to be and sound like."

On Thursday night's "Special Report," host Bret Baier played the Limbaugh clip and asked Krauthammer--who had called the speech "quite remarkable and extremely effective"--for his reaction.

"As one of the three slobberers...I find it interesting that only the ruling class wants a president who is smart articulate and oratorical in delivering a funeral oration," Krauthammer said. "It's an odd and rather condescending view of what the rest of America is looking for in their president.

Are you cheering the bullet holes or the fact that the sign was taken down? That could be misquoted and used against you by "Media Matters". Oh that's right, it's O.K. if it''s a Conservative.

I'm not cheering anything. Just mentioned it happened. A reflection on the tone of the day. I agree with calming the violent reference down.
