The Preakness logo
Unfortunately I haven't a clue how to post the damned picture (could some nice person consider doing that please?) but ummmm. I like it.
The colors are a little shag-carpet-from-the-70's-esque for my taste but still... it's nice enough. It flows, has movement... a nice line, a sense of balance. Simple. Thumbs up. http://www.pimlico.com/NewsEvents/Fe...12410PLOGO.htm Thoughts?

Not so much shag carpet like, as it is representing the State flag colors.
Too bad they came up with such a nice logo for a race I hope the MD State Racing Commission doesn't grant a date for unless Magna/PennNat agrees to run more than 40 days next year. Scorched Earth, Baby!!!!!

I love the horse and rider part of the logo. I don't like the white background.
I worry about my little state over here in the Mid-Atlantic and it's horse racing. So much horse racing history here and I grew up on this stuff. I miss the days of the Route 1 double headers, Laurel then Freestate. OY!

i like it. being a maryland native, i immediately recognized the color scheme. the maryland flag (if memory serves) is made up from the crests of the lords calvert and baltimore crests. it's been a long time since i took a maryland history class!
