Default New webpage needed

Steve,

Maybe what I'm looking for already exists, but I did not find it on DRF or Equibase.

Is there a webpage that will show a matrix of simulcast site or network vs. what tracks are carried at that site, updated daily?

I already go to DRF.com for entries, results, and I buy past performances every time I play. But the situation I described the other day, of doing extensive preparation for a track I ultimately could not play, could have been avoided.

I work in the computer industry as a software engineer, and what I envision would not be difficult for Steve Crist's guys to set up -- certainly much less intensive than the awesome TicketMaker app they recently developed.

As far as data handling, the site host would not even have to do a lot of legwork once they knew what agreements were in place. The current example of the Churchill versus Midatlantic Cooperative dispute is a good example. Once the host, say DRF, knows that there are agreements in place between Delaware Park and Churchill Downs Incorporated, the matrix would read "green" for wagering on CD from Delaware Park. The news comes out that there is a dispute, and the operator could change that to "red" in seconds.

It would be indispensable for helping out the players. Had I been able to see that info, I would have selected a different track on which to spend my time and money.

If it were me designing it, I'd also include Atlantic City and Las Vegas casinos and U.S. based websites. In that way, it also is a guide to "Where can I go to put a bet down on this race today?"

Just an idea, but if you could bring it to Steve Crist's attention, he might make it happen.

Joe
