![]() The funny part of this is the reason he dropped on draft day was because he was a prima dona. Particularly he acted like such a diva in Cleveland that they took him off their draft board completely. I don't have a link but basically they said he was out right rude to everyone he came in contact with. Its nice to see one of these ego-maniacal athlete's actions finally come back to hurt them in the wallet.

![]() Of course, it would have to be my team that drafted him and is suffering now...
Does he really think he's going to re-enter the draft next year and get drafted higher and/or get paid more? I have no idea what the negotiations have been like. If he is such a stud, how about a contract with lots of incentives (that such a stud could easily reach)? Mike Singletary held out for the same reason, thinking he should have been drafted higher. That worked out okay for the Chicago Bears. Maybe this will work out for the Niners. Either they get a receiver with something to prove, or they get cap space. I don't think Michael Crabtree is going to make that much difference on this team for a few years anyway. If he holds out much longer, you can basically throw away his first year. |

![]() Whats his plan on getting/staying into game shape if he holds out for the year? I see all this as a moot point anyways, because they are dead in the water without a signal caller. It's a shame too, as I love Singletary and the direction he's looking to go in.

I hate **** like this, but I agree with him. Its not his fault the Raiders are the worst run organization in the history of sports. He is tons better then DHB, I think he should get paid like him. Don't blame him, blame the Raiders... In 3 years Crabtree is a all pro player and DHB is looking for a team. |

Singletary held out twice in his career. If he went back in the draft, he would be 100% healthy and be a lock to go top 5. He slipped because of injury and because the Raiders. |
