![]() Flashing looks pretty good pedigree wise and I can see this horse being the post time favorite. The question that I have is why is there a 29 day gap between the maiden race and the first listed public work. Did the clockers miss a work? Did the race take so much of the filly that Albertrani gave her time to recover?
I see some speed to the outside. The filly I think has a real good shot at closing and winning this race is Pumpkin Shell. She ran OK Saratoga and at Belmont on the grass against a field that included a number of good horses including the BC Grass Juvy Filly winner. Pumpkin Shell should get a ground saving trip here and if the pace is hot enough I think she's good enough to close and win this race |
