Default Camillo and Vijay

Kudos to Villegas for a wire-to-wire win, which is tough to do even if your name is Tiger! And the trophy for butthead of the week...mr. Singh! Singh
couldn't be bothered talking to tourney press, even though he ran out of gas most of the week. And he wonders why he gets no endorsements? What a Knob!

My guess is since he doesn't get endorsements, then why should he care about talking to the press? I think he sees this whole thing like a craftsmen that works very hard at his job. He never really has understood that talking to the press is good for promoting the tour, and creating public interest.
He just thinks it's (playing golf) his job. There is no doubt that he is an introvert. He cares about his boy, his job, and his wife. Probably in that order, too.

Timm....I gotta disagree with you on this one. The focus yesterday should have been 100% on Camillo. He is a young star on the PGA Tour and he deserves his moment in the sun capturing his first win. Yes, Vijay essentially wrapped up the Fed-Ex Cup yesterday, but he still has to complete the 4 rounds in the Tour Championship for it to be official. The press can wait another week for that story.

Camilo has the potential to be a MAJOR star on Tour. Tons of game and has the "flash" factor that appeals to the masses.

He could win a major if it's incredibly difficult (for everyone) to read the greens. He could of won 10 PGA Tournaments by now, too...LOL.

Kev: thought about your post for a day and still think Vijay could've given a couple moments to whoever......he's been on tour for 15 yrs and doesn't know the play? "Churlish" is how 1 guy put it! I just don't think he's moving the product forward with antics like that....

Agree to disagree then. Im fairly certain that Camillo appreciated the gesture.
