![]() Haskell to air live on ESPN Classic, ESPNEWS
The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) announced today that the August 3 running of Monmouth Park's $1 million Haskell Invitational Presented by Vonage, a Grade I race for three-year-olds that is expected to attract Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Big Brown, will air live during a 30-minute special from 6:00-6:30 p.m. (ET) on ESPN Classic. |

![]() I understand the complaints, but.......... at least they are showing a race. When horse racing is competing for air time with cheerleading, bowling, and that gawd awful poker crap (seriously, who in the hell gets off on watching that crap?) we need to just be thankful when a race is televised.
