Default Hollywood nights.

Only a couple Friday nights left at "The Wood". Tonights sequance looks a little more manageable than the impossible one that payed a hefty 23 thousand dollar reward last Friday.
RACE1
#1 DISCOVER DOLLY-SCRATCH2nd off a short layoff and coming off a maiden score at the same distance. 3rd place finisher won her next time out. She should get a ground saving stalking trip, hopefully she doesn't bounce of her career high 69 Beyer.
#4 E BEE GIRL-3 year old filly dropping back into the claiming company after running 5th in a starter allowance race where she had the rail. She also should be near the front of this small field.
#2 CANONITA-With the 1 being scratched, I decided to include the 2 into the pick 4. Looked at this horse originally, but really didn't want to be 3 deep in a 5 horse race. 3rd off the layoff and dropping to her lowest level to date. She probably will try to go wire to wire. Did break her maiden at this distance last April and followed it with a 2nd place finish in a non winners of 1 race. Seems like she has been fading late in races latley. Maybe the drop is what she needs.
RACE 2
#3 DICE AFARE-2nd start for this 4 year old filly who ran 3rd in her debut. Drops to 25k and picks up Bejerano who is winning at a 33% clip when riding for Cerin.
#8 WARREN'S COOKIE-Probale favorite and maybe even a single on many tickets. This 3 year old seems to be improving in each start. Just missed last time out in the same conditions she also has a swift work going into this race.

NOTE:#5 PARTY PUNCH and #7 FOXY LADY are both coming out of the same race as the 8. Hard to endorse a horse that has hit the board once in 9 starts, but the 5 should be coming late in a race that could fall apart. She finished a couple of lenghts behind the 8 last out. As for the 7, it's her 2nd start off a layoff. She did not run bad in her first start back. Lightly raced trainer has good numbers 2nd off the layoff, plus gets in 5 lbs light.

RACE 3
#1 HOTITUDE-This 4 year old closer makes her 2nd start off a layoff. Between July through November she ran 1st or 2nd 6 out of her 7 races all in sprints. She will be coming late in a race with some speed in it.
#3 GONE CALIFORNIAN-Another possible single on many tickets. First start for this filly in the barn of Frank Santangelo. Stalking type horse should be in a good spot heading for home and shows a good work going into this race.
#9 KREEKER-She is making her 57th career start today and almost lit the board up last out at 48-1. Another dead closer that should be coming from beind. She too has a good work going into this race.

RACE 4
#1 PEACE PROSPECT-From the Han Moon barn (I know, I know) this horse is making a big drop. Horse has never hit the board but does have the best and most constant beyers of the field.
#2 TIGLEY-1st time started from the barn of Brian Koriner. He has a couple of decent works going into the race for a trainer that is winning at a 25% clip with horses debuting in the claiming ranks.
#5 DYNAQUAKE-This 3 year old held on for 2nd last out after drilling a half in 44:2. The 3rd place finisher of that race came back to win next time out. Takes the shade off and seems to be the speed of the race. Also has a quick work going into this race.
#9 JOSHUA'S DREAM- 1st time starter from the Eric Guillot barn who is connecting with 23% of his firsters. Sports a couple of decent works including a couple at the 6f distance.

1) 1-2-4 (1 scratched)
2) 3-8
3) 1-3-9
4) 1-2-5-9
$48 GOOD LUCK TO ALL.
