Default Nice Article on Curlin

IMO, this horse is a superhorse, and will go down in history as being one of the best we've ever seen when it is all said it done. His first step to a second horse of the year title will be this weekend. If he doesn't get injured (based on the way he is built, I would say that he is much, much sounder than most), he will run all year according to his connections. They want him to go down in history as being a legend. Enjoy him. From this point on, it is unlikely that we will get very many opportunities to see a breeding animal of this caliber run as a four year old. He is a throw-back to the horses of the 70s. He is America's horse. He is our horse. Fingers crossed for the DWC, and may he have one of the best four year old seasons in the history of our sport.
