I bet Bsharpsonata hard on the BC undercard @ 40-1 and she was clear midstretch before stopping in that turf bog. She's turned into a really solid filly, not sure what to think of yesterday's time as the $20k starter allowance went 1:37 flat and they just shaded 1:38. Tough to trust any clockings at GP right now.

Yeah, but take a good look at Game Face in the stretch, pan and Head-on, and tell me she wasn't seriously shortening stride, and she still got up for second. Looks to me like they were walking.

Pletcher passed on the Old Hat because she came down with a fever. Maybe that had a lingering affect, or maybe all she is just a late running sprinter.

Pletcher has been ice cold...Pletcher is an excellent trainer ,but his barn is either on fire and running off the screen or just terrible there is no middle ground with the guy. This is why I think he is subject to such scrutiny year after year. To be fair he does win a Siht load of stakes, so how bad does the barn really get?

he's not as much of a lock as before, but he still gets plenty of wins for sure.

Agree- she was... probably a legitimately slow race.
