8 seems obvious here... so perhaps he's not. I like a trainer with positive stats so the 4 looks interesting... 5 looks pretty obvious based on his last race but maybe he just liked the slop... the 3 looks probable but???

I think I'll go with 8/3,4,5 and 8 WP

Close Kev... I was cheering for Ozzie at the end... Huber went 4 wide around that last turn and I knew I was done for the night...

Bet $66 tonight... won $62... down $4... cheaper than renting a movie

See you next time, At The MOUNTAIN!

when was the last time a Mountaineer selections thread went over 125 posts? This was a fun night - we have got to do this kind of thing more often... but maybe next time Mark will stick around a little longer and help us cap the mountain right

See you later, Will be looking a the PP's for Woodbine and Delta tomorrow
later tonight, the polytrack at Woodbine has produced some great payouts.
Hopefully I can make to OTB tomorrow for some Woodbine wagering. Time to
take man's best friend for a late night stroll

I have got to buy Steve a beer the day I finally meet him... I never understood peoples obsessions with "message boards" but this place is awesome... I got hooked on this stuff at Bay Meadows when I lived in the Bay Area - I loved that track and the people that worked there - but with no track nearby now, this place is just as good, if not better. Here I don't have to deal with the old guys that wash their clothes once a week, or the guy that shuffles along looking on the ground for dropped winning tickets, or the obnoxious guy yelling at the TV trying to get the horse that's racing halfway across the country to get up another 10 lengths on the stretch - here I just have to deal with the repetitive posts about polytrack and which horse is the "second coming" or "latest flop"... and in between it all, I'm given winners that pay any where from $2.80 to $50+... oh yes, life is good at Derby Trails.

p.s. the Pinot was really good tonight... hic!

p.p.s. Steve - I really need a Derby Trails hat... where do I send the check?

Derby Cat totally agree with you on DT, That sucks you have no local
track to go to. Are they ever going to open up Playfair again? I guess
Emerald is a pretty long hall for you. It's one of my favorite race meets.
Living here in eastern Pa. I have 6 tracks to drive to that would take me
30 mins to 2 hours to get to. If I go to a track 8 out of 10 times it's
to Delaware Park. The have one of the nicest paddocks in the country and
they have pretty good racing and good grub.

Damn, I went to the OTB and played Mountaineer tonight ... never dreamed we would have this much going on here regarding the Mountain .... I usually just check in on Mermaid's plays and then go about my business ... looks like you all put up some nice winners, I did catch the trifecta in the 10th to end on a high note ... keep it up.
