Just out of curiousity between Barbaro, Bernardini and Discreet Cat who do you not feel is the outstanding one?

I forgot about Discreet Cat. Sorry if I fail to remember a horse that runs less than the seasons change. How very bad of me

And why is War Front listed under horses that were busts trained by Mcglaughlin?

McLaughlin
Angliana
Closing Argument
Jim's Smokin Pinot
Tashdeed
Tejwaal
War Front
War Plan

I listed every horse they trained at the time of the Derby nominations, not just the busts.

OMG you did? You bet Corinthian? Oh yeah, now that I think about it, I think you mentioned that a few times.

Wow, I'm pretty psyched. Loved this horse since he broke his maiden and was my early Derby pick but even I didn't expect him to win that impressively.

A lot of bluster above to say little. Jazil is an especially neat horse that you cleary have some irrational distate for.. If he never wins any kind of race ever again, he is a classic winner and will likely be a sire of note with his exceptional pedigree.

He's come back from the same injury, a painful one at that, which ended Smarty Jones' career, and it's terrific to have him out running at 4.

About as nicely put together a horse as you'll see.. And has a great temperment as well..
Of course if he would win a race once in a while.....

If you're going to come here and trumpet your Corinthian pick, how about mentioning that Jazil made the exacta...

Jazil got beat by 10. He put in his best run, ran up between leaders like a loaded gun, fired his best shot.....Corinthian ran away and hid. Cant knock someone for pegging a race right, he was spot on.

He's beautiful, and it's shocking to hear that his temperament is like that, because I've heard that Seeking the Gold is quite the "character."

This is the problem this horse will face all year. Jara must decide to middle move or move early to accomodate for fact he cannot consistently make up ground going shorter than 12 furlongs. not that he is a bad horse, just up against it

So he got beat by one of the hottest horses on last year's Derby Trail who is obviously talented. That doesn't mean Jazil stinks.
