Gaining nicely in the stretch .......a little late out of the gate but otherwise a nice effort. Next time out you may have something here

Just back from my "appointment"

Yeah, the head on shot showed her taking a couple of horses out. Good for the 3 to overcome that and still get up for place. I dismissed the 3 due to most of her works being over synthetic. I saw Heels and DD in the paddock but couldn't pick anyone else out. I thought she was going to get up for 4th...

oh well, next time. Looking forward to the reports

Agreed, the break did not go well, she went straight to her left taking out the 4, 3 and I think the 2 got bumped as well. I thought she was pretty even after that, hopefully better luck next time.

Rodriguez told Chuck that she was totally relaxed in the gate and was more startled than ready for the break. Likely contributed to the left turn she took when the gate opened. Of course it's Diego's job to have her ready...

Otherwise a good trip with dirt thrown at her and experience gained moving in and out of horses. Rodriguez tried left and right handed swats on her which is good too. When she started to tire a bit at the eighth pole, he seemed to stop riding her, but she picked up the bit again before the sixteenth and was persevering to the wire.

Not what we were looking for exactly, but an effort that should pay off next time. Thanks to Chuck and Ryan and everyone at Spectrum who helps with her for getting Rampillion ready for today. Hope those in attendance had some fun. More from Chuck later..

in this grainy picture you can see that Rampillion #5 is at 4/5 odds

I noticed she had $380 on her to win

She made a nice move in the turn and just kept plugging along down the stretch. Encouraging first out with the horrid break as well. Looking forward to the next start.
