I think this class (50kN2L) is written at Tampa basically for trainers that feel their horses aren't strong enough for ALX, but don't want to run them for a cheap tag and risk losing them. The majority of the horses in that race today are realistically 20-30K claimers.

Easy to say after the fact and I am sure to catch some sh*t, but the winning horse made sense today. A nice ground saving trip from Montalvo didn't hurt either.

Just because the horse you tagged as "um no" won...don't get mad at me.

If you think its redboarding, fine. I was just pointing out what I saw that made sense to me....albeit after the fact.

I didn't pick the horse to win. There were a couple others in the race that would have been logical winners as well. Im just stating she made sense.

Yes they did. Missed you yesterday Wing.

No holiday Scav, that was a straight yank out of school. It's only K and Pre-K for them, not like they are learning how to split an atom. Like Heels said, they'll learn more at the track than they will in school.

A great one day vacation. It was great meeting everyone and as Heels and others said, many thanks to our hosts. Great seats & a great time.

One thing I did learn....Bigs & Heels totally dispelled the drinking and gambling don't mix theory and should have joined in earlier. Next time I'll just give my money to them to bet. Hungarian Gent...damn...finally took Bigs advise but went to the other firster.

As Steve said we have California, Mass, SC, Florida, VA, NY represented. AM I missing anyone? I'm sure Steve will follow with his usual report.

Movies to follow.....

1) What the hell is Pre-K?

2) They should have the math skills of a 3rd grader by now.....

I didn't shut up hilarious guy, I am quiet because I can't even respond to the utter stupidity of Velez being better then Centeno, at anything.

Centeno needs to bring his ass to Arlington and ride her this summer, the first month with him riding should bring me and some others an armored truck with bags o' cash....

1) Pre-school. Pre-Kindergarten. One is in Pre-K and the other is in Kindergarten.

2) Math skills are getting better. When my oldest goes with me on weekends, she gets her own program and picks her own horses. $2 win bets. She has turned a profit 3 of the last 4 times she's been to the track. It's pure luck, but you never know....

Scavs, he better hope that he can convince Jamie Ness to go with him, and bring his mounts along.
Centeno's numbers are grossly over inflated based on Ness' 40%+ win rate. Believe me, it ain't the jock.

Rosemary is head and shoulders better than him, she rides to the wire EVERY time....If DC feels like he can't win he flat gives up on the horse, never even vying for a place position. He's an owner's nightmare and a lot of trainers won't use him because of this. I'd like to see what he can do in Arlington Park - I have as pretty strong suspicion that he'll get eaten alive.

Dan...You are an astute race watcher...especially at Tampa. Who is better on the grass there, Centeno or Velez?

a million of you Tampa bozos could tell me that Velez is better then Centeno and I AINT LISTENING. Complete and utter insanity.

Ness will be at Arlington this summer, he has only invaded before, but he has stalls at Hawthorne, which makes me think he is enroute to Arlington.

Bigs, is Pre-K the trendy thing to call it now? I went to friggin Pre-school, not pre-k...

Forget that she can add, turning a profit is the most important math equation...

Same amount of wins, ok, but 7 more 2nds, and 3 more 3rds, and his the board at almost 5% more, so how does your argument where he quits riding when he can't win hold water?

Velez ALSO gets the benefit of riding the nut Clement horses and Proctor horses. I COULD WIN RACES ON THESE Horses at Tampa. You put Centeno on these horses and he is winning at 30% on the lawn.
