128 IIRC....is the highest Beyer ever freaking recorded, dude!
Not for long. Secretariat's track record at 10F at Churchill is in serious jeopardy this fall. Expect a sub 2M and a stakes record in the Travers too.

No one is suggesting that Bernardini is not a good horse, but to compare him to GZ already...? I think Bernardini is an excellent colt, and he should do well in the BCC...but let's wait and see how he does for a few more races before we start comparing him to GZ and Secretariat, okay?

I hate the darley horses, but I have never seen a horse like this. The only horse I really believe in is this horse. I love Showing Up because I know him, but he couldn't hold this horses jock.

Oh no, we're not just comparing him to Ghostzapper and Pleasantly Perfect....he's already better than both!

No let's not wait. Let's get all giddy like a school girl! HOY! HOY! HOY!
Greatest horse in 40+ years, and on and on and on.
Will someone please remove his battery pack?

If you are going to compare GZ and Bern then just look at the three year old seasons. You cant compare GZ 4 year old season to Bern's 3 year old season. I think it is rediculous to even compare these two--but at least try and make it even.

Seriously though, I'm done arguing with someone who thinks Bernardini is the next coming of Secretariat. Definitely sounds like STrong Contender's backer heading into the Lexington or whatever race it was that he ran like a dog on the TC trail.

I agree. There is an amazing similarity in the type of posts made by those two.

You say the same thing about every horse that comes along. Please don't act like you know EVERYTHING... honestly, you're making yourself look ridiculous. Bernardini is a very nice colt to be sure, but you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Here that comes. Me, ArlJim, and DTS, are all that guy. For the record, I was a Sweetnorthernsaint guy. I just like the two Lael horse because I have had the opportunity to meet them.

The Kingofturfway was the guy we thought was making up rumors about the Lael horses.

Yet you both claimed that Lansdon wasn't who he said he was on that board and that I was actually posting as him.

All I know is that if a 3 yo does not win two of the three TC races (P given, Charismatic), it's virtually impossible for a 3 yo to win HoY. For Bernadini to get HoY, he MUST win the Travers and the BCC. No horse got HoY off a Preakness/Dandy/Travers sweep, notwithstanding 110+ Beyers.

Not easy to do, especially vs a full field of older horses in great form like he'll see in the BCC. And if Lava Man wins the Pacific, it probably won't matter anyway.

I am sorry you guys are paranoid lunatics, but I personally didn't think the guy was who he said he was, but I imagine neither did 50% of the people at first.

The funny thing is if I was the guy you want me to be, I really doubt I would have sent a few people on this site my personal information. Or did I make that up too. LOL.
