i don't think its insane to talk about it. hell what else can we talk about?

i think most on here realize that its a long ways out and many that are being discussed will not get to the starting gate.

but scavs, i got to disagree with your percentage. i think its more like 90% likely that the derby winner has already been seen on a track. I don't think many derby winners have debuted after dec 3rd.

I don't think any of the listed horses will win the derby.

I know who will win the derby... The one who crosses the finish line first.

I agree with Scavs. This is silly to talk about.

What happened over the weekend that Obi Wan got banned? Was he fighting with people or trying to sell something? I miss all the fights.

I agree with you there buffy. Good answer...the one who crosses the finish line first.

Unless...

Two horses are battling head and head down the stretch and one is severly interfering with the other and the jockey on the horse that is interfering with the other horse hits the other horse in the head with the stick. They hit the wire together, and the interfering horse beats the other one by a nose. They take the horse that crosses the finish line first down...

Hey, it could happen

I'm in some kind of a mood today...

On second thought I'll take David Junior, he should cross the wire just before the '07 Derby ends.

P.S. I am a David Junior fan, so any other fans don't be upset.

Big fan of David Junior, and a big fan of this post too

Loved him going in, and still do -- I'd rather him finish last against a salty crew like that than any other group

I think the 2007 Derby winner is still flying under the radar. Maybe he has not broken his maiden yet; perhaps he was second or third in a sprint and needs a little more distance.
