Does this mean that Bold Ruler believes Berbardini is superior to the following horses (to name a few off the top of my head)?

Kelso
Dr Fager
Damascus
Buckpasser
Secretariat
Forego
Seattle Slew
Affirmed
Spectacular Bid
John Henry
Holy Bull
Cigar
Skip Away
Tiznow
Point Given
Ghostzapper

yes it does, he is one very sick puppy. He has a Showing Up picture at home as well but it got sticky and is stuck face down on the night stand next to his bed.

Stop, I am not nearly as big a Showing Up fan as the guy living with me this summer. I am a much bigger Barbaro and Sweetnorthernsaint fan. However, if I remember correctly, you Kip Deville guys shot your mouths off and got smoked. Then Oracle said a good jockey would have given Kip Deville a win by five lengths. Wrong.

So, 1) A guy I respect, Steve, on his radio show said Showing Up was injured and not going to run in the Derby. An honest mistake, but wrong. 2) Oracle attacks Showing Up and gives him no credit for crushing his friends horse.

What am I going to do, just say ok, no big deal. Bash him all you want. I would love to see him do well because of his sire, but I don't honestly believe Showing Up is Barbaro or anything.

I do believe in Bernardini, and I have never met the owner, trainer, anyone connected to the horse. He is just that good.

I guess it is ok to have an orgasm over Circular Quay, a two year old running beyers in the 80's, and declare him the best 2yr old you ever saw, but saying a horse that runs 114 beyers and wins by 9 lengths in a walk, is an all-time great, well that is crazy. LOL.

The issue here is that the Cunningham guy pointed this out well before any of us, and nobody wants to give him credit. There are a few of us who now believe this. Not just me.

Circular Quay gave some people chills: they've never seen a two year old do things like he did, with his pedigree,he'll run forever..etc...LOL

But so far, no one has responded to our pointing out this hypocrisy, Bold Ruler, so I have to assume that they know they don't have a leg to stand on.

1) Steve made a brief error that he corrected. You made one yourself that had Lansdon about as unhappy with you as you were with Steve when you said he wasn't who he said he was. he was waiting for that phone call to "straighten him out" and it was wise indeed for you not to call.
2)I never said he was the best two year old I ever saw.(CQ) I said he was the best I'd seen at this point in about ten years. So far I haven't seen a better one, although the Lukas horse who won on Saturday after being beaten by Quay looks to be exceptionally talented.
3)Cunningham also pointed out that Lady Of Venice was supposed to be the best three year old grass filly, and that Scat Daddy was supposed to be sensational, I see neither. I give him props on falling in love with Bernadini and agree with him on Henny Hughes.
4)Showing Up will get anilhated if he faces English Channel.

He is better than Holy Bull, Cigar, Skip Away, Tiznow, Point Given, GZ, and I can't say for the others because I never really studied them. But I would say on Secretariat and Dr. Fager are as good.

Then by all means you should study them. Seattle Slew, Affirmed, Kelso, Spectacular Bid, John Henry, Buckpasser, and Damascus are worth getting to know. They are all horses of somewhat exalted abilities inspite of your not knowing them.

I think they might be better, but Bernardini is in my opinion the best horse I have ever seen. I don't see how anyone even competes with him.
