However, even with the A. P. Indy - and the Beyer figure that was a 1/20 shot to improve markedly with that time between starts - that horse was still to much of a reach I thought.
Other than misspelling " too " in the final paragraph I pretty much agree.

He looked like a million dollar horse in the post parade. I don't bet paddocks or post parades (although i may cancel if a horse looks terrible), but he was so much the best visually it was unbelievable. Aquarian looked very average. I dutched them both and played the race5-race6 double a few times. The Talent that Alaazo showed in his maiden race was in fact real. It was hard to tell from the replay but that is what I said that I thought was evident. The raw times, beyers, bris were a red herring without study of the race replay. The track wasn't as much of a conveyer-belt as it has been recently , and as expected the 8 Atwell set the pace, and not Mambo. Around turn 2 Alaazo got his opportunity and with the 2 shooting a dud , only had to beat the minor contenders. It wasn't a great race and no one here is looking like a star, but at least Alaazo looks like he has some potential to be a 9,10 furlong horse.

Baloney about the fig being a red herring if you watched the race.

The simple fact is that a completely different horse showed up today than ran at Monmouth in August. Overall, his trip was fine. Whatever minor trouble he caused himself early was completely mitigated by the perfect trip he had after that.

less about the "trip" and more about looking for talent and quality of the animal. The way he made the headway, the way he looked in the stretch, the way he looked next to those other horses.

EDIT - TO BTW - it's not important anyway

what we need to do is interpret THIS race for ourselves, and make some profit off of it when they run back, if such a profit is possible.

I have to give my eyes a rest and stop thinking about horses for at least an evening.

Good luck guys , there are a few Wednesday races at GP

You're just upset because Randy Moss only caught too passes yesterday.

He caught five - and a late TD to put the Pats ahead.

The way the O-line blocked, the way Brady played with career best inaccuracy, and the way the Giants rolled their coverage outside at Moss on most plays (leaving the middle of the field open for Welker) ...

He could have had a much worse game on the stat sheet.

On his TD catch - they actually tried a trap - and doubled up Welker and left Moss in single coverage.

Leaving him one on one with any corner not named Champ Bailey or Chris McAlister - in the redzone - is like leaving you one on one with Jordan. He broke the defenders ankle on that play.

While the stat line didn't reflect it, I felt I more than held my own against his Airness.

If he wasn't so full of himself he would admit it.

He was probably just conceding the outside shot - and you were sticking a few here and there.

Playing down to the competition - it happens to the best of them.

In fact, I tend to post down to the competetion in most threads that feature lots of King Glorious posts.

Just be sure to let us know should you ever actually decide to display your A game.

If I'm giving anything above my D game - I'm being too generous.
