Thank you Mortimer.

I'm sure both you and Emily will be glad to know that I moved into 3rd place today...although I used one of my valuable picks to get closer, and have just two left.

Of course, several weeks ago---I made the dumbest move of anyone in the top 100---I was probably high one night, and I dropped Cotton Blossom to pick up Lia's Luck. I basically gave away TWO picks for tomorrow---to get Lia's Luck, who was eased in a five horse field...and earned me zero points. If not for that dazzling stroke of stupidity....I'd be the clear-cut favorite to win it tomorrow.

As it stands now, I'm probably about a 12/1-to-20/1 shot.

Nice move up!

I used Markavelly in the regular contest (not that I'm a threat for money, but I did move up). Did you use My Typhoon?

In order for me to win.....

* Stormello and Dream Rush both must win.

* And each of the following four horses must not run 1st or 2nd:

Valbenny, Tiago, Cp West, and Slew's Tizzy

Sniper's two key horses are Tiago and Valbenny...from the looks of it, If Tiago runs 1st or 2nd...he can win it all.

Big Congrats guys!! To be that high in both contest says alot. I thought that both contest were great and I hope they do them agian. Umm this time I will read the rules about transactions and add/drop times. I think I added and dropped the same horse about 5 times,,,,without realizing I was screwing my self out of transactions. And I was gonna be slick and load up for a Saturday, then after I got the points, load up the stable for the Sunday card. Well obviously I cant tell time because I didnt realize I was central time. I am an idiot, what can I say.

Got an e-mail from the TVG Fantasy commissioner today. The next TVG fantasy game will begin scoring on June 30th and go through the Breeders' Cup.

Congrats to Sniper for his come-from-behind victory in the 3yo contest!

We almost had a board exacta (which looked like about a 150/1 shot of happening coming into today) ....I finished up in 3rd place.

I couldn't quite pull off the sweep, but it was nice to see someone else from here win.

Thanks, congrats on the win in the main contest. We got the board sweep. Looks like someone from here will have to take down the Breeders Cup Contest next. Limit of 42 moves in that one. Should be very interesting.

Should be fun.

They keep tweaking the rules.

The only thing I don't like about that new rule is that you pretty much have no idea how strong or weak different people are...without doing a lot of boring counting anyway.

It is pretty incredible that both contest winners came from this board.
Well......actually, given the quality of the people on here, it isn't that incredible after all!
Congrats to both of you. That is impressive.

Yeah, they should really add "moves remaining" to the scoreboard. I'll e-mail them the suggestion.

I really didn't like this format and completely forgot about the contest from Aug until the week of the BC.

How did everyone do this time around?

I did virtually nothing during Saratoga season which cost me a ton. I then wound up with like 27 moves going into October and wasted most of them on bum horses. I wound up 136th.
