![]() I grew up on Roosevelt and Yonkers too. Who could ever forget the days when Stan ("Good night all") or Spencer were out where they would bring in the Dock, that is, John Dockery, probably the worst sportscaster of all time. If Bergstein were out Spencer Ross would provide the expert commentary! I still believe that Jack E. Lee was one of the best race callers ever.

![]() Jack E. Lee was great, some of his lines I remember are "and 'X' can see 'em all" and "IIIIIIIIIIIIIn Front!" It is a shame that he had a problem with alcohol which eventually got him fired from Roosevelt. Last I heard he was at Freehold, but I think he had problems there too. And I am sure you remember Bullet Bob Myers. A couple of years ago I went up to Saratoga for the weekend with Pmacdaddy where we did the flats during the day and went to Saratoga harness on Saturday night only to find that Bullet Bob Myers was the track announcer. He must be in his 70's or 80's but was still going.
