![]() Wow one can get very hungry from this post. These are some of the best meals i've ever had.
1-The hotel Misani outside St.Moritz,Switzerland.I was there in the late 60's visiting my granparents and ordered a pizza not knowing any better. They brought this thing out and the dough was flakey and the ingredients were so fresh it melted in your mouth. 2-Sabrina,a kosher restaurant in Paris. The year was 1971.To this day i still think about the salmon i had. 3-The Olive restaurant in Tel Aviv a block away from where Rabin was gunned down.Without a doubt the best Falafel i've ever had and a full table of all the stuff you wanted to put on top of it. 4-Ernestos-It was a small hole in the wall here in Queens that was family owned. The mother and father did all the cooking. The veal and chicken parmigiane was the best i've ever had,and if you didn'want the side of pasta they gave you extra veal or chicken at no extra charge. 5-The Red Basil in Stowe Vermont.Quite expensive but the sushi was like butter. |
