I wonder if Bob Baffert will put both Princess Arabella and Eden's Moon together in the Las Virgenes. I suppose if a first condition comes up, one will be re-routed there.

I fully expect the form of the Santa Ysabel-Hollywood Starlet-Sharp Cat Stakes to be murdered to shreds once these two fillies and Reneesgotzip reappear.

Yeah.

Could be a Derby won by a filly this year.

In what was pretty much a parimutuel work-out, she wins handily going 7f in 1:22 and 1. Broke much better, but still rated while 3 wide, took over and won while being encouraged, but still hand ridden.

Yeah. She beat absolutely nothing at odds of 1-to-9 and a Cal Bred Maiden Claiming race will get a slightly better number in the 1st.

Clear trip. She was merely hand-ridden but a top class 7f young female should have been a lot more impressive with similar handling.

She looked better when she broke slowly and was forced to come from behind.

Nice win. The only thing that bothered me a little bit was that she was laying on the outside reign a bit throughout the race. Must be tough being Baffert these days. Has to be hard choosing between the two barns each morning to watch his horses train...

I'm not exactly sure how much more she could have done given the circumstances. I wouldn't be negative about the race, at least she proved she could get out of the gate effectively today.

I think she's going to have to prove that she's better routing...which she very well might be.

A filly with My Miss Areilua type ability at 7fs would have left those easily and won under far more restraint.
