Buffet is a briliiant marketer who has taken about three songs and sh*tty restaurants and made millions. Good for him. But please do not put him on a Super Bowl ever!

Next year ideas...AC/DC, Metallica, Van Halen...???

Agree- I thought the Who did a good job.

I'm making Journey the early favorite for next year's Super Bowl halftime show. 5/1 contracts open for trading.

Purely because they are from Texas, ZZ Top.

I thought Tom Petty was the best halftime show in the last decade or so. Both Petty (and the Heartbreakers) have been around forever, but compared to the Who and the Stones, they're in their prime, and they sounded great when they did it.

I just looked it up and claims it was 97 in New Orleans. A Blues Brothers Bash with Aykroyd, Goodman and Jim Belushi. Also James Brown was present.

Looking over the list, I noticed that the Eagles haven't played the Super Bowl. I think Henley is from Texas, but are they even together? Also would they let a band called the Eagles play in Jerryland?

Also it's been Rock n Roll the last 3 years. Would they switch it up and go some other way?

You know that they are touring with some fillipino guy that sounds like a young steve perry. Its all over youtube.

Now is the 5/1 on the journey with the fillipino guy or with steve perry?
