How can you say they did different today other than to fume the flames of this every growing contingent that seems to rail on a very nice champion race horse.
Until she leaves the cozy confines of SoCal and actually wins a real race, she will never be as good as Rachael.

They did do a good job last week. I'm not knocking that. But this week's coverage was just too much. And it isn't just today's coverage, it's every weekend. I'm getting tired of it.

And not once did I "rail" on Zenyatta. To go undefeated against the best in the area is an accomplishment that I don't regard lightly. She is a "very nice champion race horse". I root for her to win because the sport needs these stories.

TVG needs to quit giving me this damn BS coverage. Just give me honesty. That's all I ask.

Come on, there's only one style with that mare and that's exactly how Smith rides her.

That was an exciting race and certainly the pace worked against her, so it shows what a quality horse she is. That being said, I turned TVG off immediately after the race because I needn't hear one more second of Todd Schrupp's bombastic proclamations about Zenyatta.

NT
I did exactly the same thing.

I'm one of those guys that loves a race to look pretty, you know split horses late, save ground thread a needle...I hate 4 path no excuse uncovered when clearly she is last trips swing from the 4 path to the 6 path runs...I know I need help, seriously one of these days I can see Mike having a bullseye on him when he costs her a race.

Lethal Heat is a good horse and a graded stakes winner. She obviously wasn't ready off the layoff last time out

It doesn't take much to be a stakes winner as an older horse these days.

Not a problem. All Jackson has to do is send his FAST filly out there and kick her ass. It's really that simple. Maybe he can get her that wide stalking trip, you know, the one that works real well on POLY.

I hope now more than ever that he brings Rachel to the BC. He only needs to give her to Doug Salvatore to train because Assman's stats on Poly are really bad. If DrugS can't do it can you fill in, Fats?
