Betting the 9: Western Deed to win but after another look that 8 is not too shabby. Out of Kris S mare, he might love the grass. Have to put a couple on him.

I see that, Mike, and I see that the front wraps went on right after the claim, but the first race after the claim was not that bad against tougher and he has had trouble breaking in last three, I don't think he is implausable, at 38-1 it is worth the risk to me. I am not saying he is most likely winner, but I don't think he is totally out, throwing around in a 10 cent super as well. Worth a shot to me in a field with a favorite who doesn't like to win.

I had a tough time even putting the favorite on my ticket. I can't stand horses like that. That said, toss the last and he's always there and just may find himself in front at the wire.

I had to put him on, but I hate having to eat 3-2 on a horse like that, you were right on the 8, used the wrong longshots underneath here.

10th race at Belmont is off turf, that sucks! In pk4, I believe you get all which should make pays for this pk4 very chalky.

We're going to struggle to get our money back.

*Edit. I just realized you said the 10th. That really sucks. That was the only race I was hoping for a price. I went 6 deep there. I was thinking you meant the 9th in which I am singled. I'm screwed.

That makes two of us, I went 6 deep in the 10th myself with the same idea. The 6 and 8 are now scratched from the 10th.

The 9th is still on the turf and the track is now Yielding, may move up the 9 a bit, but the 7 still appears to be the horse to beat here. Good Luck, hopefully we can at least get most of our money back!

What really stinks is that the clouds are giving way to sun here in Manhattan and not a drop of rain has fallen even if Belmont is about 15 miles away!

Default Nightcap - Pick 3

What happens if you are alive in the Pick 3 with a couple of the scratched horses. You get the post fave with no refunds????

The yielding turf scares me a lot. I'd rather be 6 deep in the 9th, after the rains.

Just saw something at Monmouth that was a first.. They were all loaded in the gate and all of a sudden the #7 backs out and the announcer says "the race will be delayed due to a jockey change"... Has anyone ever seen that happen before?

The jock could've gotten injured in the gate.
