Default 2/17: Santa Anita ($420k C/O)

Exciting afternoon Saturday with $15k Magna 5 score from Derby Trailer 'tiggerv' on skien that didn't produce huge prices, but was treacherous nonetheless.

Leg A---Golden Dawn ($10.00), Laurel Park 10th
Leg B---D. Double You ($8.80), Santa Anita Park 4th
Leg C---Shes All Etish ($10.00), Gulfstream Park 9th
Leg D---Mananan McLir ($8.00), Santa Anita Park 5th
Leg E---Motorcycle Tom ($9.40), Gulfstream Park 10th

Golden Dawn upset my own single of Control System, but the other solid possible single Mananan McLir came through at Santa Anita to help those that went we him. 68 winners split a pool of just under $1,000,000.

Tampa's Derby Preview Day was strong with Zito's Fierce Wind stepping forward off his GP form to win the Sam F. Davis topping Big Truck, in a solid rebound, and Smooth Air, an OK, persevering third. Dreaming of Anna made her 4 year old debut successful with a gutty front end win in the Gr. III Endeavour, and Tom Albertrani looks like he has a good filly in Suncoast winner Vaulcluse.

At Santa Anita, a $90k+ carryover swelled to $420k for Sunday with the $100.00+ winner of the nightcap tipping the scales into another tough six pack of races which I hope to decipher below with pool likely to aopproach $3,000,000...

Hope you did well Saturday.
