I guess the reason Tiger wins so easily in San Diego, and loses(or wins by a shot in a playoff) in Dubai is because he can read the greens a lot easier in San Diego. He has lost to lightweights Bjorn, and O'MEARA(at the age of like 47) in Dubai.Doesn't help that he has to travel to the other side of the earth, too. In May 2001 I flew to NYC,and my equilibrium was off the whole time I was there. I kept thinking it would go away, but it didn't go away until 2weeks after I got back.He is used to flying ,but that's still a long trip. For the average person it would be like 20 hours. You would probably have a connect in Europe. For him(on his private jet) maybe they can get it down to 12 hours. The quickest nonstop commercial jet I see listed is like 15 hours one way(Houston-Dubai.)

Reminds me very much of the way he looked when he won this tournament 2 years ago.Field is even more intimidated this time, though. They really get paralyzed when they get close to him.It reminds of this little footage here:

Note the production style(the use of the golden arrow is quite a fancy touch.) The film looping etc. indeed invokes memories of an artist like (the one n' only) Leni Riefenstahl.

Woke up just in time to see him put his 2nd shot in the water on the par 5 18th hole.He wanted to make 3,and be a shot back of Els going into Sunday.Instead, missed putt for a 5,and is 4 shots back.He has won this thing once(and that was a gift from both Richard Green and Els.)The 2 most predictible guys are there in front of him(ELS N' STENSON.)Truth be known,Els should of won this 4 or 5 times already(fairly weak mentally.)Tiger will try very hard.He was back by what? 3 shots two years ago(into Sunday.) He just doesn't care for these greens. He doesn't like the 18th hole.Doesn't care for the sandy winds, and probably has allergies that stoke up in this part of the world. For sure, something about this tournament bothers him. That's why it's a great tournament. It's a true challenge.

Dubai Desert Classic
Outright Winner
Ernie Els 11/8
Henrik Stenson 5/2
Tiger Woods 100/30
Lee Westwood 12/1
Sergio Garcia 28/1
Graeme McDowell 33/1
Martin Kaymer 66/1
Peter Hedblom 80/1
Damien McGrane 125/1
Shiv Kapur 125/1

Tiger birdied 2 out of 1st 3 holes in final round(before ERNIE even tees off his lead is cut in half.) That is one ruthless guy.

Ernire birdies 13 and 14 after back to back bogeys on 11 and 12. Lets see if he has any sack to him from here on in. Tiger birdies 18 and in clubhouse with 1 shot lead.

Els needs to birdie 2 of the last 5 holes to win.

Should announce his retirement..........Tiger said he did the same thing yesterday(hit the 2nd shot into lake on 18th.)Uh,Tiger you hit the water 10-15 feet from making the green.Ernestine hit the ball into THE FKN CENTER OF THE DAMN LAKEThis was the biggest gift of all.He has given it up to TIGER a lot,but this is the worst.Tiger thought he needed to shoot one better(to just make a playoff.)I think Tiger could have shot one worse on the back 9,and would have won.No way KAYMER eagles the last if it meant a tie for the lead.Ernestine would have tied him at -13.Then Ernestine would have hit it into the lake in the playoff. When you really see how many guys made birds on either of the last 2 holes(Tiger birdied both,) to not be able to birdy either is about as feminine as a man can get.Should just retire in disgrace.

I think Tiger is illegally taking
video while others are working
in secret on their short game.

I am now writing Arlen Specter
to investigate this domination.

Tiger owns Ernie...Ernie knows it, Tiger knows it and Ernie knows that Tiger knows it.

It goes back to the Mercedes playoff in Hawaii a few years ago. Ernie aint been the same since.
