Does anyone like Joppa Flat's to win here? I know he has seconditis, but he's been losing to some winners (Winstrella, Merchant Marine).

I've been following Joppa Flats for about a year now, and needless to say, he's eaten alot of my money .. as Steve said, he had a perfect trip and the entire stretch to get by in his last, still came up a nose short. He just doesn't finish his races, but is shortening up today. Kaper Lake is one I might take a closer look at.

if you knew how to watch a race, you could clearly tell that he wants more distance. they should send him 9f next time!

I still think he can win the Donn. He just needs a good horse psychiatrist.

It's even more ridiculous: $200K! At least there were no major bridge-jumpers... the Show Pool was just under $16K, as opposed to the win pool of $141K.

The best scenario for THE GREEN MONKEY would be a flat mile, at The Meadowlands and with John Campbell on the bike.
