He didn't run THAT terribly today. At least he beat the horses he was supposed to beat and picked up a check.
Since we apparently can't let it go, let me make one final comment about Sun King. Miraja's post is dead on. Two races that come to mind are the 2005 PA Derby and the 2005 Leonard Richards (now Barabaro) Stakes, both of which I'm happy I got to see. Very smart placement, very lucrative placement.
