![]() Thanks Cajun & Lindsey. She did come up with a showname for him. (She didn't like Captain Lindsey)
Lifeislikeaboxofchocolates... The show may be rained out. It has been raining heavy here on and off all day. She had a beautiful lesson this afternoon though. I missed it. Her mom filled me in. We have 9 kids going to the show.

![]() Just an update for you ladies. For a 5 year old throughbred who was going to his first show, Bubba was absolutely AMAZING. He acted like a total professional. He was a little excited, but listened and never acted like anything bothered him. I was totally amazed. His owner even said, if I didn't have his paperwork and matched up his tattoo with the vet, I would swear this horse wasn't 100% throughbred.
She did five flat classes (walk/trot/canter). They only pinned in one class. A sixth in the equitation class out of about 15 riders. The others he picked up the incorrect lead in his bad direction at the canter. The last class she did, she did wonderfully but then the judge made them drop their stirrups and asked for a posting trot. She hadn't tried this on him before and I think she got a little nervous when he got excited and started to speed up at the trot. Overall she was very happy with him. She didn't really work on getting him framed up at all and was just there to give him the experience. She handled everything well and the smile on her face when she got the sixth place ribbon was priceless. Bubba is off to a wonderful new life as a show horse!!!
