the trainer told the jockey not to let the horse stay behind the field cause he is too calm on training.....he needs some competition....

The horse jumped from the gate badly so the jock let him run a little for him to stay close to the others....

the horse simply started running and the jockey couldnt control him!!!...He (and a front runner) opened more than 10 lenghts from third place....

Then you will see what happend...

the horse bolted dead right out of the gate, very green and rank. maybe the jockey thought he was in the stretch but he really needed to tuck your horse away and let him settle. instead your horse wasted all his energy weaving about trying to gain the lead in the first turn.

I agree with you....dont know what happened there....the jockey is a very experienced one....3rd place on statistics last year....its sad....maybe next time...

absolutely...your horse looks like he is full of run...only his first race as a 2 yr. old and he had no chance in the race going into the first turn...i think the biggest thing is to get the horses to relax, then take it from there.
