worst i've seen are during those steeplechase races at the Spa. First race of the season a couple years ago, I dont remember exactly but I think 9 started and 2 or 3 finished. Amazingly I think all (or almost all) of the horses were ok, but they were all just laying there. |

![]() I was stunned NBC showed it!!! That's the last thing I'd think they'd want to show on the one year anniversary.
I hit the Pick 4, but I didn't realize until they showed the results that I was still alive. Seeing these rare tragedies really puts a pit in my stomach and I lose track of all else occurring. It's fortunate it didn't hurt anyone else with him falling in front of the field. It initially looked as though a chain reaction disaster would take place, but only Albarado had to bail. Lastly, those jocks continue to amaze with their physical and mental toughness. |
