Thank you guys. ......I'm scared to leave, I may not be able to get back in.
Grits,

This had nothing to do with DT; strictly a problem with our server company. The host had a hardware issue in Atlanta. There is/was nothing we could do to prevent it Sunday morning or going forward. Frustrating and annoying...

Steve, accidents happen of course but my question would be why didn't they have a back-up of the database?

"They" set up this site... STEVE set up this site. I'm certainly not complaining (didn't hurt me to get some stuff acccomplished yesterday )and I highly doubt that anyone on this forum is pointing a finger at SB. Sometimes people just need to vent.

well if people need to vent about a site like this being shut down for a day then they really dont have much better to do, when i made the original post it seemed to me like the ppl directly above me were definitly complaining

I'll bet you were complaining after you blew your load when Scat Daddy stuck his nose in front during the FOY. Even more so when Stormello completed the exacta. LMAO

PG 1985, don't assume what people have, or do not have, better to do. You're not in the position to know. So, maybe rethink that one.

A better host would be backing up the database daily. Steve is right to be concerned.....though these things do happen.

why does everyone rag on this guy. PG1985

I like his style. And for the record, i believe he made the bet in question.

FLAME AWAY...

He sets himself up for it... if you're going to dish it out, be willing to get it back in return. I'm not doubting his bets (don't really care in fact), but he completely set himself up for disaster when he posted that Nobiz couldn't lose the FOY.

It's all in good fun.

yes, he did post that. But he also posted about Corintian when he won by 9... at 2.50-1.

Thanks for the explanation.
