Default WED - Kentucky Downs (R6-R10) PK5/PK4

Kentucky Downs - Closing Day POST SCRATCHES - FIRM

I'll start the day with a Cold Double: Race 1 - #7 Barbabos (3-1), which should really enjoy the extra half furlong and #2 Watusi (7-2) in Race 2, who should improve after adventuress debut at Arlington. DD - 7 2

R6 - Alw 100k/N1X (Turf 8F 70yds)

#3 Ketel Twist (12-1) - Top barn excels 2nd off. 3RD
#11 More Than Less (5-1) - Rosie looks to save ground early and explode late. 2ND
#12 Knotty Pine (GB) (6-1) - Finally broke through at PENN and fits on speed figure numbers.
#9 In My Time (6-1) - Should be forwardly placed again, but have to question her holding on the final furlong. WON $8.60

R7 - Kentucky Downs Ladies Marathon 200k (Turf 10.5F)

#5 White Rose (9-2) - Expecting a sharp performance with the freshening and better draw. WON $11.80
#11 Cat's Claw (4-1) - Familiar with outside post and the distance is not a question.
#9 Customer Base (5-1) - Former graded stakes winner has battled some nice fillies and this is considered a drop in class.
#7 I'm Your Luv (30-1) - Best race came here last year (86BSF) and Borel should secure the lead early.

R8 - Kentucky Downs Ladies Marathon 200k (Turf 10.5F)

#5 I O Ireland (6-1) - Block knows what stock to send to Ky Downs and she looks ready for the task. 2ND
#6 Tabreed (GB) (7-2) - She was impressive last fall and she's rounding in to top form again. 3RD
#7 Topic (4-1) - When Drysdale ships you must take notice. Saddle slipped in last.
#9 Auld Alliance (Ire) (10-1) - Eligible to take a step forward off last and Leparoux fits him well.

R9 - Kentucky Downs Turf Dash (Turf 6.5F) NOTE: Projected front end runners #2 & #9 scratch will benefit #12 Something Extra, Also #13 Expecting Cash (8-1) draws in for Amoss, which is showing confidence throwing him into stakes company after a $7.5k Starter Alw win.

#6 Undrafted (7-2) - There's enough speed lined up for him to produce a late rally and anything like his win at Belmont gets it done here. 3RD
#12 Something Extra (5-2) - Will have to contend with other front runners, but he just might be too good for them. 2ND
#4 Big Blue Spirit (GB) (12-1) - Solid turf runner should appreciate the cut back and the price will be right.
#1 Dimension (GB) (9-2) - Working well and a minor award is well within the scope. WON $12.40

R10 - Starter Alw 7.5F (Turf 12F)

#1 Coturnix (8-5) - Fits at this level and the extra distance seems ideal. All the arrows point his way. WON $3.20
#4 Geaux Wando (20-1) - Comes in off the bench and should produce a late rally.
#5 Takepointsandrun (5-1) - Steps up after handling lesser. Ellis Park form has held well at the meet and Borel will probably secure a front end position. 3RD
#3 Ephram S (9-2) - Decent run here about 3 weeks ago and would be no surprise if he gets a minor slice.

PK5 - 3 11 12 / 5 9 11 / 5 6 / 4 6 12 / 1 = $27 for $.50

PK4 - 2 3 5 7 9 11 / 5 6 7 9 / 4 6 12 / 1 4 = $48 for $.50

Good Racing Luck

#7 Barbados want no part of being in-between runners, although I'm not sure if he would of beat the winner today. Definitely will give him another shot next out.

Ya he sure wasn't running a straight line down the stretch. I'll keep him on the radar
