![]() I agree they shouldn't have thrown on this play but this adage is outdated. In today's NFL there are many more likely outcomes. Pass interference and defensive holding are just as common as completions. Let's also not forget the 15 yard penalty for tackling to hard.

![]() Indy's playcalling towards the end of the game was atrocious at best. Ran the ball when they should've passed, and passed when they should've run.
Call it getting too cute. Call it being scared of giving Chip the ball back w/ 5 minutes on the clock, down two scores...whatever ya call it, call it as boneheaded a move that I've seen in quite some time, and they probably lost the game because of it.

I totally agree on the penalties being used as a way to get down the field. This DEFINITELY ISN'T the game that I grew up on!
