In the fifth race at Saratoga, that was some eventful ride by Jose Ortiz aboard Clothes Fall Off - watch the replay where this horse was midway on the turn, the rail run into the stretch, a cutoff, a re-rally on the outside. Aside from Fusaichi Red, no one was running in the final 110 yards.

Side note : Did anyone hear Tom Durkin say Fusaichi Pegasus in that race?

He needs to get that horse to the outside. Not his best ride. No way the 5 should win that race.

Yeah, i was playing a tourney Sunday and played neither, kicked myself after. I created a spot play after, that alerts me when he is on something 8/1 or higher so I don't miss going forward.

Disclosure : My double tickets were into both Downtown Hottie and Ah Gaga.

Honestly, I do not think that this was a case of Manny Franco not rolling with Downtown Hottie sooner.

The final eighth was in 14.36 - literally, they were crawling to the wire.

I did not back First Whipporwill due to his "good" Parx performance where he came the final 5/16ths in 36 flat - he ran to that miserable number.

I think the front runners backed into Downtown Hottie.
