| Why have there been no turf races at Indiana Downs this meet? They opened on May 6 and to the best of my recollection they have yet to card a turf race. Was the course redone or something? Meanwhile, I love the turf races at CBY. |

| I was curious too so I asked them about it. Here some responses from track handicapper Rachel McLaughlin: @RacingRachelM: @FrankBoone20 @billdownes1 @IndianaGrand we have gotten A LOT of rain here in IN, we invested a lot of $ in the Turf &dont want to ruin it.. @RacingRachelM: @FrankBoone20 we are going to start racing on the turf the first of July.. I have an interview w/our trackman he talks in detail about it

| Thanks for the feedback. But as far as her answers go, I don't even think there were any turf races in the book the first 5 weeks. Whatever--my business will go to CBY in the interim. |

| FINALLY, July 2 (eight weeks into the meet), 3 turf races carded. I guess they were waiting for CD to close. Meanwhile CBY, well to the north, has been on the turf for 6 weeks already. |
