I remember seeing the weanling photos of Orientate's foals in Blood Horse and absolutely loving them, I like stallions that stamp themselves into the foal, to me they all seemed to have great laid back shoulders, well set necks and substantial hips, almost more like Quarter Horse foals.
From what I heard, he was bred to excellent mares, so that may have been a big part of his success.
