Really not surprising. Funding faulty "intelligence" doesn't seem to be on the Dem's plate. They have Hersh afterall.
There is, imho, a difference between the two parties.
The "I" word is still floating around. Not likely, but possible.
The Wash Post has been "cheer leading" for the "cheer leader" for quite a while.
