I realize crazy things seem to happen at Churchill but it looks to me like basically a three horse race between Super Frolic, Wanderin Boy and Premium Tap. I prefer Super Frolic, who's running in the first race he had a chance in for the " potent " Assmussen barn, and should get a great trip and be the squarest price of the real contendors.
Most of these are just WAY too slow. |

From today's Selections..
CD 11th: 132nd Clark H. (Gr. I), $500,000, 3+, 9f (DD) 1. #5 It's No Joke 10-1: Grabbing tab on in form Maker stalker; sits off speed 2. #4 Premium Tap 5-2: Desormeaux (!) back aboard; Classic effort was great A. #10 Irene's Mon 30-1: Never off board @ Downs; May like stretchout B. #1 Super Frolic 8-1: Bulleted for new barn and gets pace to chase LONGSHOT/SUPER ADD: #7 Wiggins 30-1: Typically a cut beneath, but likes CD, trip..

I don't like Wanderin Boy's chances today to win. He normally must wire the field to win and I just don't see that happening today, although he has clearly been performing at a higher level than most of these. |

I don't see a ton of pace other than Bright One who I don't like a little bit. You may be right but as you said his performances have been overall better than all, save perhaps Premium Tap, so I tend to think he has a realistic chance. One horse that I will be shocked to see win is It's No Joke. He isn't fast enough to be an effective member of the pace and his recent victories have been against significantly worse horses. |

The simple fact about It's No Joke is that his recent efforts have been against significantly weaker opposition ( he beat that complete mediocrity AP Arrow for God's sake ) and he does not figure to get an easy trip here. I don't see him being good enough to get a winning trip here. Do you expect him to be effective sitting a few lengths off and making his move on the turn? |

Quite honestly I didn't like Magna Graduate in that race at all. Long layoff and poorly spotted in a 1 turn mile. Of course, my horse ran last! (he did return to win a good money allowance in a fast time, minor vindication on that?) Who do you like? this is a very intruiging race, if not really a true grade 1. |

3rd and 5th and beaten by a football field. Let's face it, one superior horse showed up, and 11 inferior ones didn't. It was a massacre and there was only one good performance. |
