I long for those early days I had as a fan where at least a portion of my brain didn't watch a race hoping that everyone got home okay. Being oblivious and not seeing as many breakdowns as I since have was a blessing I didn't appreciate at the time.
So sorry for Points Offthebench and his connections. He sounds like a sweetheart, and I'm sure he would've put on a great show.

What a great horse. I dont really think we saw the best of him yet. The way he won his last two races were phenomenal.

I really hope NBCSN and NBC doesn't give into the political aspects of this... animal cruelty nut-jobs, producers that think that the casual fan and the general novice naive public shouldn't be exposed to this story. Do right by the horse and the connections. Tell the story, tell what happened, minor sugar-coat, but only minor. Tell the story NBC. RIP
