Mrs. Weber has been very supportive of the market.

This sale is extremely strong, today's action is good to see. It does seem to be extremely narrow with stallions. It's weird not seeing Storm Cats, AP Indy, Seeking's etc that used to light the lamps

I missed #707 going through. I was a little surprised. I realize not all the ones that look good on paper vet well, but sure sounded like expectations were much higher than a $70,000 RNA. Some recent problem?

I don't think it's all that narrow Freddy. War Front, Tapit, Md'O, DistHumor, Indian Charlie & Tiznow all with sales averages above $400k. Street Cry, Malibu Moon, Bernardini & Smart Strike with average between $300-400k.

18 million dollar or more sellers (highest since '08) represented by 10 different sires:

Tapit 4
Md'O 3
War Front, Tiznow, Malibu Moon 2 ea.
Indian Charlie, Galileo, Bernardini, Unbridled's Song, Smart Strike 1 ea.

Talk is that many prospective buyers were rebuffed this week as well which bodes well for the weekend and even beyond. The pinhookers have to stock their shelves yet too.

Hot Bloodlines at Keeneland for Rest of Sale
By Frank Angst, @BH_FAngst

While Book One of the 2013 Keeneland September sale concluded Sept. 12, the world's largest yearling sale will continue to offer youngsters from mares who have excelled on the track and as broodmares. This list spotlights nine yearlings out of grade I-winning mares who already have produced at least one stakes winner. The combination of those two requirements brought up 22 Keeneland September yearlings, 13 that were offered in the first four sessions. Those Book One yearlings included an Indian Charlie filly out of Take Charge Lady who sold for $2.2 million. There are nine other qualifying yearlings remaining in the sale—even a filly to be offered in the final session of the 12-day auction—who meet these requirements. (The list was generated based on progeny accomplishments through Sept. 2.)

Hip 1198 (session 5), ridgling by Malibu Moon —Aldiza, by Storm Cat
Consigned by Gainesway, agent, out of 1998 Go for Wand Stakes (gr. I) winner Aldiza, who produced grade III winner Altesse and stakes-placed Alchemist, dam of grade I-placed And Why Not. Malibu Moon is the sire of this year's Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands winner Orb.

Hip 1263 (session 5), filly by Street Boss —Collect the Cash, by Dynaformer
Collect the Cash has made headlines at Keeneland before, winning the 2000 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes (gr. I), and produced Stately Victor , by Ghostzapper , winner of the 2010 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I). Collect the Cash also has produced stakes-placed Smart Penny and Money My Honey. Consigned by Adena Springs, filly is by Street Boss who boasts 2013 King's Bishop Stakes (gr. I) winner Capo Bastone from his first crop.

Hip 1428 (session 6), colt by Super Saver —Nany's Sweep, by End Sweep
Consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent, colt is by new sire Super Saver , winner of the 2010 Kentucky Derby. He is out of 2001 Santa Monica Handicap (gr. I) winner Nany's Sweep and is a half brother to 2007 Seaway Stakes (Can-III) winner She's Indy Money.

Hip 1586 (session 6), filly by Quality Road —Xtra Heat, by Dixieland Band
Both the sire and dam of this filly, consigned by Woodford Thoroughbreds, agent, secured grade I victories at Belmont Park. Champion 3-year-old filly of 2001 Xtra Heat piled up graded stakes victories in her career, including the 2001 Prioress Stakes (gr. I). She has produced stakes winners Southwestern Heat and Elusive Heat and stakes-placed X Rated Cat. Filly is by new sire Quality Road, a winner of four grade I races including the 2010 Metropolitan Handicap (gr. I).

Hip 1659 (session 6), filly by Bernstein—Catchascatchcan, by Pursuit of Love
Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent, filly is out of Catchascatchcan, dam of group II winner Antonius Pius, a hard-luck runner-up in the 2004 Breeders' Cup Mile (gr. I) at Lone Star Park.

Hip 1796 (session 7), colt by Stormy Atlantic —Lady Tak, by Mutakddim
Consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, colt is out of Lady Tak, who turned heads with wins in the 2003 Test Stakes (gr. I) at age 3 and the Ballerina Stakes (gr. I) at 4 among her seven career stakes victories. She has produced stakes winner Melody Lady, by Unbridled's Song.

Hip 2684 (session 9), colt by North Light —Perfect Sting, by Red Ransom
Perfect Sting earned champion grass mare honors in the U.S. when she won the 2000 Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf (gr. I). She also won a pair of grade I races at age 3 in the Garden City Breeders' Cup Handicap and the Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup. Perfect Sting has produced grade III winner Smart Sting and grade II-placed Perfect Bullet. Colt is consigned by Adena Springs.

Hip 3563 (session 11), filly by Pleasantly Perfect —Campagnarde, by Oak Dancer
Winner of the Gran Premio Selleccion, or Argentine Oaks (Arg-I), during her racing career, Campagnarde is an accomplished broodmare as dam of grade II winners Rize and Lovely Rafaela, as well as stakes winner Calle Vista—a full sister to this filly—and two other stakes-placed runners. Pleasantly Perfect filly is consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.

Hip 3737 (session 12), filly by Latent Heat—Roaring Twenties, by Dixieland Band
Consigned by Castle Park Farm (Noel Murphy), filly is out of 1999 Selene Stakes (Can-I) winner Roaring Twenties. This filly received a catalog update when her half sister Joan's Choice won the Moro Stakes at Aqueduct. Roaring Twenties also has produced stakes-placed Salomea.
