In addition, you also have to keep in mind that two year old form is hard to carry over to a three year old season. We often see two year olds who are dominate because they mature faster and then they flatten out. This gives the appearance that they are not as good as they seem to be. Once "other" horses mature then the gap closes and sometimes the late bloomers pass the mature two year olds. Street and Quay are good two year olds--I will be excited to see if they continue to mature into their 3 year old season.

I think that it is very unlikely we will see Quay in the Derby. I think he will level out and will be left behind.
