Georgia Aquarium does a lot of good things for rescue and rehab, but after reading the entire proposal there was no way I could personally support them.

I'm not gonna get all preachy here. I didn't stop eating meat / chicken / etc. till golfer bombarded me daily with horrible links and ... ooops I I mean I stopped in January and I am no one to tell anyone else how to live.

The video talks a little about how they're gassed, the garbage bins, when exactly they stop being "cost effective"...

I think it's a lovely story. That's all.

What the poachers do to these beautiful, intelligent and sensitive animals is about the most brutal thing you will ever see. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust http://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/ has a sanctuary where many of the orphans are raised after they have lost their mothers to poachers.
